Another option I am exploring is installing CENTOS 7 or Debian-Like OS and having Grub manage the EFI Partition/Boot instead of Windows. Perhaps that would be a workaround to this issue until everything is resolved.
Or return the Mobo to Microcenter a go with another brand and scale up into the X series Chipset. It would be a shame though because this Mobo is pretty solid for the price.
