Stop beating a dead horse, it's been explained multiple times, that EOL doesn't mean they stop support of this product. They've just decided to stop production of it.
These forums are supposed to be a resource for people to get help with issues, not bitch about their product no longer being sold.

Now onto more productive posts like memory compatibility tests.
Since having raised my RAM kit to 3066MHz, I've noticed some boot failures on restarts or cold boots. The system will cycle a couple of times before it boots, but it goes forward just fine. If I lower it to 2933MHz then it boots up just fine no issues, quickly.
I think I'll lower it to 2933MHz just to avoid any issues, but I'm happy as a bean like I stated before with my el cheapo 2666MHz RAM.
