Subject: Cant reduce fanspeed in BIOS ASRock X 370 Gaming

There are two ASRock "X370 Gaming" boards, the K4 and Professional. Which one do you have?
How are the three fans connected to the board? Which fan headers?
Are all three fans the same model and size?
The fan tuning feature is only one part of setting a fan's speed. Each fan header has its own controls, and some headers have more control options than others. Have you selected a fan speed profile for each fan header? Did you create a custom fan speed profile for each fan?
At least one fan header on most ASRock boards will run a fan at full speed all the time. Or the fan header can be used as power for a water cooling pump, which may apply full power all the time. As I said, all the fan headers are not the same with their controls.

![]() Hello my problem is, that i have a corsair 460X Case and i cant reduce the speed of one of the preinstalled 3pin fans. http://www.directupload.net/file/d/4669/gmj4cvdd_jpg.htm http://www.directupload.net/file/d/4669/jexnv2i6_jpg.htm Fantuning sets one fan to max speed. I tried disconnecting that one fan and it worked fine, everything was silent, but after a reboot one of those 2 remaining fans were spinning @ max again. Tested with fan tuning again and it sets one of them to max speed (65% fanspeed), so i had to install that third fan again, now i have 2 silent fans and one crazy loud fan, dont know how to solve that. CPU fan works fine and those corsair fans are 3 pin fans. I can set every setting available in bios for that loud fan but it has no effect at all, keeps spinning like crazy Maybe someone can help me, thanks in advance and greetings from germany. I hope my english was good enough to explain my problem ![]() |
