![]() Just be careful that you select the USB stick and not NOT an HDD with data on it ![]() http://www.intowindows.com/download-bootable-usb-drive-creator-tool-for-windows/ After creating it unpack and copy the zip file contents to the root, then at the post scree IIRC it';s F11 to select which device to boot from, then once booted to it begin following at Step 3 with the commands to flash the MAC Address. Again, post back your progress. |
OK, I found an alternate "create a bootable USB drive" program and got the whole thing to work. However, the steps as written above didn't work for me exactly.
Under Step 5 there are 4 sub steps. When I typed in cd MAC207A, I got the following error message: CHDIR failed for 'MAC207A' with the little apostrophes. However, when I skipped that step and just typed in MAC, then the program worked and it flashed the MAC address. Now the MB boots up without me having to hit F1 all the time.
