I'd swapped this motherboard into a desktop that had been upgraded from 7 Ultimate to 10 Pro. It developed some software issues with Device Manager, could not make any changes, as though I was logged in as a Guest, even with the Administrator account. A repair install didn't correct the problems.

Yesterday the USB 3.0 port just 'vanished'. Nothing plugged into it works, USB 2.0 or 3.0. Doesn't matter which cable, and everything that does not work in the 3.0 port works in the 2.0 ports.
Now today I've done a completely clean install of 10 Pro, no upgrade, no remnants of anything to cause any trouble.
I still have no USB 3.0 port. It's not showing at all in Device Manager, as though it's been disabled or physically removed. YES IT IS ENABLED IN BIOS.
No alterations were made in the hardware installed or BIOS settings, it just up and went away between one reboot and the next. "Hey! Where's my 4TB G: drive?! WTH? Where's my USB 3.0 port?!"
I have the 1.91 beta BIOS installed because I have a 95W TDP 6 core AM3+ FX CPU coming by slow boat from South Korea, should be here by the middle of next week, or so. Current CPU is a Phenom II 555 unlocked to 4 cores.
If the Fresco USB 3.0 controller has just up and died, looks like I'll be getting a PCIe x1 USB 3.0 card sooner than I planned.
