Hi all,
Here is the dilemma. I think the system is booted up fine but I get no display. I check my keyboard and it is responding and there is no error code flashing on the board. Just no display thru my monitor.

Hi all,
I am having a boot problem with 6850k and Asrock Taichi x99 board.
Very first time booting the computer, everything worked yet when I rebooted the system, the board was crapping out with SATA/IDE error (A2) and sometimes PCIe error (forgot the code) according to the manual.
So I tried to reset the CMOS by taking the battery out and also flipping switch on the back of the I/O panel. (also the by flipping switch on the board itself as well.)
But I just won't get a display. My monitor says no signal.
Here is the dilemma. I think the system is booted up fine but I get no display. I check my keyboard and it is responding and there is no error code flashing on the board. Just no display thru my monitor.
I have another desktop and I triple-checked the HDMI connection cables (I have 3 HDMI cables) but everything works.
So I just let the computer idle even though I don't have a screen for maybe 10-15 minutes then voila, I get a screen saying there is no OS installed on the SSD driver I installed. So I rebooted the computer with my Windows 10 USB to install the OS. But again I don't get any display yet my keyboard is responding. (i.e. Caps lock turns on/off and also NumLock key turns on/off) My keyboard has LED lighting and it lights up via USB connection so I am assuming the board is operating properly, right?
Also all the fans are working.
So this is driving me insane. I checked all the power cables and they are all connected as they should.
I am just scratching my head what else I can try.
Please help!
